This AI rap video generator turns a photo into a lip-synced rap video. Upload a selfie, a friend or a pet, add your own song or one made here, choose up to 60 seconds, and the face raps every word. You can also make a music video with new scenes.

Rap videos from one photo

Real lip sync

Mouth, head and expression move with the vocals, even on fast rap flows.

Music video mode

Put the person in a new scene, like a neon rooftop, with camera cuts, in 9:16 or 16:9.

How the AI rap video generator works

You give it two things: a photo and an audio clip. The tool reads the vocals, then animates the face so the mouth, head and expression follow every syllable. Fast flows work too, because the motion is driven by the sound itself, not by the lyrics on screen.

There are three ways to use it. Lip sync animates one face from one photo, at 5 credits a second in standard or 8 in HD 720p. Duo takes a photo with two people and lets them trade lines, at 5 credits a second, or 10 in HD. Music video mode builds a new scene around the person, covered in its own section below.

Clips run up to 60 seconds. Anything shorter than 5 seconds is billed as 5, so a 10-second lip sync clip costs 50 credits and a full 60-second one costs 300. In our tests a 10-second single-face clip was ready in about 50 seconds. You can close the tab while it renders; the result waits in My Creations for 24 hours.

Make your photo rap: choosing the right picture

The photo matters more than any other setting in the AI rap video generator. The model can only move what it can see, so give it a face that is sharp, well lit and looking roughly at the camera.

If the result looks off, the photo is almost always the reason. Swap it before you change anything else. A phone selfie in daylight, held at eye level, is often all you need.

  • One face, filling a good part of the frame. Group shots confuse lip sync unless you use duo mode with exactly two people.
  • Mouth closed or slightly open, teeth not clenched in a big grin.
  • No sunglasses, masks, hands, mics or hair covering the mouth and eyes.
  • Even light, no heavy beauty filters, no strong motion blur.
  • Only photos of yourself, or of people who agreed to be in the video. Never make a real person rap words they did not approve.

AI music video generator mode: new scenes and camera cuts

Plain lip sync keeps your original photo and its background. Music video mode goes further: it places the person in a new setting, such as a neon rooftop or an empty parking lot at night, and adds camera moves and cuts, so the result looks closer to a real rap music video than a talking portrait.

You pick the format before you generate. Use 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, or 16:9 for YouTube. The price is 5 credits a second in standard and 10 in HD.

This mode takes longer. A 10-second clip took about two to three minutes in our tests, against under a minute for plain lip sync. A good habit is to test your photo and the section of the song with a short lip sync clip first, then spend credits on the longer music video once you know the face animates well and the timing feels right.

Rapping cats, dogs and cartoon characters

The AI rap video generator that animates a selfie also works on a pet or a drawn character. A rapping cat with a trap hook needs nothing more than a clear photo.

Pets are harder subjects than people, so the photo rules count double. Pick a shot where the animal faces the camera and its mouth is visible: a dog sitting still for a treat works better than one running across the yard. Long fur around the muzzle can make mouth movement subtle, which is fine for a joke clip. Try two or three different photos if the first one looks stiff.

Cartoons and illustrations work when they have a clear face with eyes and a mouth in roughly human positions. Your own drawings, a mascot you designed or an avatar are all fair game. Characters owned by someone else are not, unless you have the right to use them.

Use your own song, from Suno or a home recording

This video tool does not need music made here. Upload an MP3, WAV or M4A, whether it is a track you produced, a recording of your own verse, or a song you made with an AI music tool like Suno. Then drag the selection to the part you want, up to 60 seconds. The chorus or the strongest eight bars usually make the best rap video.

If you do not have a track yet, the song maker on the AI rap generator page turns lyrics into a full song with AI vocals for 20 credits, and it hands the file straight to this page. That gives you the whole chain in one place: words, track, then the visual.

Only upload audio you have the rights to. A song you wrote and produced is yours to use. A commercial release by someone else is not, even if you only want a 15-second clip.
