My Dog Thinks He's a Famous Rapper

My dog struts around like he's the king of the block

Got a chain made of tags and he barks on the clock

He drops mixtapes in the backyard, all bark no bite

Thinks he's on the charts when he howls at the night

He's got a hype man, it's the mailman he hates

Barks at the truck like he's dropping new tapes

His rap name is Lil Kibble, he's claiming the throne

But he's scared of the vacuum, won't leave it alone

Full song, AI vocals and trap beat (first 30 s)

What is a diss track?

A diss track is a song written to take shots at someone. The word "diss" is short for disrespect, and in hip-hop it has turned into its own form: a verse or full song aimed at one target, packed with insults, wordplay and comebacks.

What separates a good one from a rant is craft. The strongest roast songs pick one or two weak spots and come back to them again and again, each time from a new angle. They exaggerate until the line becomes absurd, and the hook gives the crowd something to chant.

You do not need a real feud to write one. A roast for a group chat, a birthday or a fantasy football league follows the same rules: a clear target, a clear angle and punchlines that build.

How to write a diss track with the diss track generator

Start with the target box. A name alone gives thin results, so add two or three details: "my roommate Sam, never washes a dish, thinks he can sing". Specific facts that you both laugh about give the AI something to twist.

Next, pick your ammo. The diss track generator has six ready angles, and each one changes what the bars attack:

Then set the tone and severity. Savage goes for the throat, witty leans on clever turns of phrase, technical shows off rhyme schemes, and funny goes for the laugh. Severity runs from mild through hard to nuclear. For a friend, mild or hard with a funny tone is usually the sweet spot.

Each run takes about 30 to 40 seconds, and you get 3 free generations a day without an account. If the first draft misses, change one setting and try again rather than rewriting the whole prompt.

  • No talent: the target cannot write, sing or play.
  • Copycat: everything they do is borrowed.
  • Fake lifestyle: the flex is rented.
  • Fell off: they peaked years ago.
  • Clout chaser: they will do anything for attention.
  • Ghostwriter: someone else writes their lines.

Diss lines that land (and lines to avoid)

The best diss lines share a pattern. They set up something ordinary in the first half of the bar, then flip it in the second half. "You call it a comeback, but you never left the couch" works because the listener expects a career story and gets a lazy afternoon instead.

A few things make roast lyrics fall flat. Generic insults like "you are trash" give the crowd nothing to picture. Long explanations kill the timing. And anything that leans on someone's looks, money problems, health or family is cheap and rarely gets the laugh you want.

Lines to avoid entirely are the ones that could hurt someone for real: claims that sound like facts ("you stole from your boss"), threats, slurs, and private details like addresses or phone numbers. Our generator will not write those. Keep the target recognisable, keep the shots playful, and let the wordplay do the damage.

Turn your diss into a song with a voice

Lyrics on a screen are only half the fun. Under the result, click "Make it a song" to hear your roast with AI vocals over a beat. A preview of about 30 seconds costs 3 credits, and your first preview as a guest is free. A full track costs 20 credits and comes back as an MP3 with vocals and an instrumental, usually in under a minute.

You can pick the beat style from presets such as trap, boom bap, drill, phonk or old school, or describe your own. A savage tone suits drill or trap; a funny roast often hits harder on a bouncy old-school beat.

New accounts get 25 free credits, enough for a full song plus a preview. Failed generations refund credits automatically, and there is no watermark on the file. Want the target to "perform" it? Send the MP3 to the photo-to-rap video tool and use a photo of a fictional character or a friend who has agreed to it.

Keep it playful: rules for roasting friends

A roast works when the person on the receiving end laughs too. Before you send a diss track to a friend, ask yourself whether they would play it for others. If the answer is no, cut the line.

Stick to things they joke about themselves: being late, terrible cooking, an obsession with one sneaker brand, a losing streak at video games. Skip anything they are sensitive about, even if it would get a laugh from everyone else.

Never use a real person's photo or voice without their consent, and do not post a roast about someone who is not in on it. For rivals, celebrities or anyone you do not know, use a made-up character instead. Fictional targets let you go nuclear without anyone getting hurt.

Diss track generator FAQ

A diss track is a song that insults or mocks a specific target, usually through wordplay, exaggeration and punchlines. It started as a way for MCs to answer rivals, and today people also write them as playful roasts for friends.
